STOCK SALE REPORT
Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report at the Owhango yards on i.lie Ist inst. a good yarding of sheep ;md a fair yarding of cattle. There was a good attendance of the public, and &H the sheep yarded changed hands under the hammer, at satisfactory prices, but cattle were hard to quit at reduced iprices. Prices ruling were as follows : Fat ewes 24s ud to 275; store ewes }2s to lbs 4d; lambs to 9s 9d; lambs, good, to 19s; cull lambs to 5s 9d; 18-month steers £4 10s to £6 ss: 18-months heifers r.w.b. to £6; store cows to £4 10s; dairy cows to £11; calves, small, to 21s.' T . ;,, Abraham and Williams Ltd.. held their usual fortnightly sale at Hunterville on Tuesday. Fair yardings came to hand, and "met with a better sale than of late. Quotations : Medium 2th wethers 2os to 25s Id; mired sex ditto 22s 6d; m.s. lambs 14s 6d; -Tnali do.
