TAIHAPE STOCK SALE.
Dalgaty and Co., Ltd., Palmerston North, report having held their usual fortnightly sale at Taihape on Wednesday last, when a, fair yarding of sheep and cattle came forward. All stock were dull of sale, and prices showed a marked decrease, there being practically no demand. Quotations: — Sheep: Mixed aged ewes 10s 6d to 14s; mixed 2-ths los Id: small 2-tobths 13s 6d; fat and forward ewes 25s 4cl ; cull mixed lambs 2s lid; 2-th empty ewes (very small) 5s 8d to 9s. Cattle : 20-month steers £3 Is to £5; 20-months heifers £3 2s to £4 8s .
