THE MOERAKI SHORT OF MEN,

WELLINGTON, January 23. Since the arrival of the fMoeraki at Wellington from Sydney, a number of the crew had signed off the Vessel's articles. The position today is that the Moeraiki is short of 14 men-—seven firemen and seven trimmers. She is to sail for Sydney at 5 o'clock to-morrow evening.
