INVERCARGILL, January 23

The Invercargill Chamber of Commerce has asked the General Manager of Railways to give the reinstatement of the -through Christchurch express his first consideration in the restoration of the railway services.

The Government ordered the selection of a site for the aero mail station for Invercargiil, and an area of 15 acres has been selected as suitable.
