THE AUCKLAND BURGLARIES.
ACCUSED BEFORE THE COURT
AUCKLAND, Oct. 2
At the Police Court to-day lames Davern, Edward J. JMcLelland, Charles F^ McCormick, Patrick Ounn, Walter N. Papesch. Thomas W. Gunn, and Alexander R. Gunn, :ippeared on charges totalling I'J in connection with the recent burglaries. Davern, McLolland and McCormick pleaded guilty hi respect to a burglary at W. E. Kutchinsoirs on August 22, and at The .Sacon Company's on August 30, and were committed for sentence. McCormick pleaded guilty and ratrick i'-^nn not guilty to a burglary ot barton's boot factory on Seyteinber JO, am: were committod >.or sautenco ai*d trial respectively. Davern, McLelland and Papesch pleaded guilty and were committed for sentence for a burglary at the I'teetrieai Couscruction Company's on Sept. 8. The other charges will De heard to-nnor-row.
