OPERA HOUSE.

THE REVUE FOLLIES

lo another large and highly appreciative audience the. bright and" entertaining revue, "Get a Move On," was staged'for the-second time last evening, i'rom first to last the rollicking medley ot mirth and music went with a merry swing, to the accompaniment of the tuneful music of the orchestra, and almost continuous outbursts of laughter and applause. During an interval his Worship the Miyor (Mr C. E. MacJay), speaking, on behalf of the Returned Soldiers' Association, expressed m eulogistic terms the thanks of the members of the Association to all those responsible for the admirable and successful production. The revue, he said had been staged, in aid of the funds of the Returned Soldiers' Association, than which there wa s no more worthy object; but he felt sure that thoso who had attended would feel not only that t chey had helped in a, good cause, biit.tl.at they had received good value for their money. So successful had the effort, proved that it had been deeded to repeat it next evening, when children would be admitted to all parts of the house at half-price. As on the occasion of the first oroduction. Miss A. McGonagle .shared' with Mr Percy Vere the honours of the evening, and was made the recipient of a large number of beautiful bouquets. The revue abounds in sparkling specialities, some of them—notably, the singing of Miss Rona Kino—being of outstanding merit. Taken as a whole, the performance, from every point of view, is a thoroughly enjoyable one, and another crowded audience should be assured for this evening. The writer and producer of the revue is Mr Percy Everett, who is to be congratulated upon his work.
