MARY PICKFORD IN "LESS THAN THE DUST."
That "Maiiy Pickford regards the possibilities of the motion picture as without limit, needs no better proof than the fact that she has oast from herself all restrictions and has embarked on the sea -of artistic freedom at the' head of her own producing company;, the releases of which are controlled by the Artcraft Pictures Corporation in America and the Australian Feature Films 00., in Australia. The nrst picture in which she is to appear under the new arrangements will be "Less Than The Dust," a play adapted from the song of the same name by Lawrence Hope, one of a set of four entitled " Indian Love Lyrics." The scenario is by Hector Turnbull, who has given Mary Pickford a role -that offers every opportunity for her delightful comediy and appealing notes of pathos. This picture, ■which is in seven parts, has been secured exclusively for the Grand at considerable extra expense, and will be screened for three matinees daily, at 2.30 p.m., and three evenings at S, commencing next Thursday. The box plan is rapidly filling, and it is necessary to secure seats at once. Plans at Grand Theatra.
