Mrs Arthur Hbbart had her right foot amputated on Saturday night as the result of being knocked down by a motor cyclist. .

Auckland* August 20. Mary Bell, aged 31, was found dying last night with a small bottle believed to contain poison beside her. She died an hour afterwards. She had previously spoken of her intention to commit suicide.
