Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report on their Wanganui sale on the I.sth: We offered a good yarding of cattle ana sheep to a fair attendance of buyers. Competition for sh-oep, particularly hoggets, was good, and we cleared the bulk of our yarding under the hammer. Good hcggets made 28s; medium hoggets 21s 7d to 23s 6d; cull hoggets 13s 4d to 14s 2d- f.m. ewes in lamb 25s 3d; small 2-th wethere 26s Id to 26s lid; 20-months heifers £5; 3-year Shorthorn heifers in calf, £11 Is; 2-year S.H. heifei's, empty cows, £7 15s; forward cows £9 ss; Small Hereford weaners

At Wayerley on the 17th we had a fair yarding of sheep, principally hoggetfi, and a small one of cattle. Good woolly ewe hoggets made 325 ; medium Lincolip-skirmed hoggets, 28s sd; fat an<3 forward wethers 38s Id; fat ewes fs6s 2d; low conditioned cows in calf to Shorthorn bull, £6 18s:- small mixed weaners £3 4s: light fat cows £10 8s; forward cows £9 to £9 17s 6d.
