STOCK SALE REPORTS.

Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report as follows:—

The usual weekly stock sale was held S ■ P,almerst°n North on the 16th inst. We had a fairly-good muster ox cattle and a small entry of sheep. We had a fairly good musii P^ ctlcally the whole °t whic« were sold. Ihere was an unsatisfied demand and good prices were the order of the day. Iho sale was held in yards kindly lent by Mr Alf. Gray, who had everything m ship-shape order and everything went well from the start. Ewe flogaets brought from 28s 2d to 29s 3dmedium ditto 24s 2d to 27s 3d; wether hoggets 24s to 26s lOd; mixed 25s to 26s 6d; medium ditto 23s to 24s 6d. At Feilding on the 17th inst. we had a moderate entry of stock almost the whole of whicm was disposed of. Competition was keen, and good prices were realised for the various lines offered. Good dairy 'cows brought from £12 to £13 10s; medium do. £9 to £11 10saged and inferior do. £6 10s to £8 5s • springing heifers £9 10s to £11 ,ss'; small and backward do. £7 10s to £9forward cows £8 2s 6d to £9 7s 6d' store cows £7 to £7 18s; small ditto £5 17s 6d to £6 17s; coloured yearling steers £5; oged ewes in lamb 19s to 23s 6d; light fat ewes and wethers 30s; light fat wethers 38s 9d; mixed hoggets 20s 6d; cull ewes 7s.
