(Per Press Association.) * TIMARU, May 19

Judge Stringer heard here- to-day & claim for compensation, by, workmen against a "Wiaimale contractor. Whilo working for defendant in May 5i 1913, removing a building, the complainant suffered a fracture of the hip through a wall being blown over on him. He had not recovered the use of his leg, and his earning power had been reduced from i>7s. to 20s. & week. Ho had received £27 compensation up to September. The Court made an order for 17&'*a week.
