SIR lAN HAMILTON'S SPEECH CAUSES TROUBLE.
JAPANESE PRESS CALLS ON ASIA TO CO-OPERATE.
("Times" and "Sydney Sun" Services.) v TOKIO, May 19. The Press, to Sir lan Hamilton's remarks in Wellington, declares that Japan must prepare to stand alone and face.tho white races in battle. Asia must co-cperate with Japan for common doience. ■ The newspaper "Nichnche" complains that Sir lan Hamilton is a disturber of th-o peace.
A "Cluonicle" reporter last evening drew General Hamilton's attention to the above cable. The General said that military rules forbade Lim from commenting on the subject.
