DRUNKENNESS IN N.S.W.
SYDNEY, May 19. The annual report of the New South Wales Alliance says that New South Wales was the most drunken State-in the Commonwealth during 1913. Conviction's for drunkenness totalled 28,274; other convictions, in which drunkenness formed a parfc of the charge, 41So. Convictions against women totalled in 1912, and were 32,977 m 1913. Two thousand pledges were taken when convictions Were not recorded.
