The steamer Makambo brings news that the.natives of the New Hebrides are very restless, especially on Malekula Island, where early in the month seven native misionary teachers were killed and eaten by a tribe known as the " Bib Nambus." The natives also naided and burned a store kept by an Englishman named Farrell, who, with his wife, escaped to Walla Island.
