CRITICAL SITUATION IN BELFAST
Received March 22, 5.5 p.m. LO2TDON, March 22. Correspondents at Belfast agree as to the splendid self-restraint of the people. Sir Edward, Carson's efforts are being directed towards preventing possible outbreaks among ill-disciplined youths. The situation is critical owing to suspense over the next move. Twenty-five thousand troops are available in Ireland Lieut.-General Sir Arthur Paget is in command. *
