LYCEUM THEATRE.
A matinee performance will.be given this afternoon, at the Lyceum. For last evening's programme at this popular picture theatre the star was a Kaleidoscopio drama entitled "The Oa/th of O'Tsuru San," the following being a short synopsis: O'Tsuru San Nuaki has been . trained to consider Jier country's interests above everything else. Ned Wintihrop, a young American, who has invented a new torpedo, is entertained in Japan by Gen. Nuaki, who wishes him to sell the invention to Japan: . * Winthrop refuses to sell to any Government but his own, but the patriotic Japanese, seeing that money ivill nojb tempt Winthrop, notices that his daughter has attracted him and -resolves1 to secure the plans of the torpedo through her agency. '- This programme should attract another large audience this'evening.
