The cricket match, Canterbury v. Otago, for the Plunket Shield, concluded to-day, the visitors winning by an innings and 32 runs. Canterbury made 442 in the first innings and Otago 195 in the first and 215 in the second. McFarlane 61, Tuckweil 52, Watson
30, Bruges 26 (not out), Chadwick 19 (not out). In Otago's second innings, Bennett took seven wickets for 87 runs, Wilson two for 88, and Beal one for 16.
