The huge spectacle is worked jnto a strong drama dealing with" the traditional love story of Lieut. Lamar, a prominent soldier of the North, and Virginia Burk, a beauty of the South, known as "the "girl in Confederate grey." Concerning the presentation cf the picture at Denver City, U.S.A., the "Times" said: —"Among the 25,000 people who saw 'The Battle of Gettysburg' last week, were hundreds of the '■boys' in blue and grey. Among those who applauded the reproduction of /the crash and flash of cavalry arifl infantry, were many with tear-dimmed eyes, and hearts that"bled in memory of loved ones that war, grim harvester, had gathered.
