NEW ZEALAND TEAM IN AUSTRALIA.
AN EASY VICTORY
BRILLIANT CRICKET,
SYDNEY, Dec. 14. The weather was again fine. There was a large attendance. New Zealand began their second innings confidently, and. play was bright nad attractive. Homus and Sneddon opened, the partnership producing 75, when Sneddion was dismissed for 34. Hemus followed him in the next over. Hickmott and Tuckwell formed the next partnership, the former playing vigorous cricket. His score included 8 fours. Tuckwell continued to play forcefully, but _ finally got leg before after a capital innings of 84. Patrick and Sandman played soundly. The Northerners' second attempt was feeble, and they were dismissed for 90. The chief scorers were Ma okay 24, Millard! 15, McLean 14. Taylor, Robinson and Sandman took splendid catches and Boxhall kept the wickets brilliantly.
LATER
Tho New Zealanders won by 303 runs. In their -second innings they lost seven for 285 and declared: Hemus 41, Sneddon 34, Tuckwell 84, Hickmott 49. Patrisk 23, Reese 11, Sandman 23, Taylor not out, 6.

Sandman took 8 wickets for 29, and Reese ono for 17.
The Now Zealand fielding was again brilliant, not a single change being missed.
