Received 8-25 p.m., October 7. SYDNEY, October 7

The citizens, to-day were afforded an opportunity of viewing the personnel of the newly-arrived Heet. Five hundred strong, including a contingent from two British warships, followed by 700 members of the Naval Reserve and Senior Cadets, assembled at Government House grounds and marched., with bayonetted rifles on shoulders, through the principal strets. They presented a brave show. A big and enthusiastic gathering lined tho route.
