WANGANUI (1) v. MANAWATU (1).
The local team could not reproduce Saturday's form in their match against Manawatu, and the game ended in a diaw of one goal each. Play was very open and always fast, but was not so exciting as the Wanganui-Oanterbury game. This made Manawatu three draws in succession.
