Butter—Tho market is dull and demand slow. There is no change in prices. Cheese—The market is quiet for New Zealand, and trade slow for Canadian. New Zealand white 06s. 6d., coloured Gss. 6d., Canadian finest white and coloured 645. 6d. Hemp—The market is quiet, but steady. There is increasing demand for better grades of Manila and fov that tho market is firmer. New Zealand good fair grade £29, nomintal; f. ?r £21 15s. Fair current Manila" £29 10s., forward shipment New Zealand good fair £29 10s., fair £25, fair current Manila. (E29 10s. 'The :outjmt from Manila for tho week was 19,000 bales. Peas—The market is quiet with poor demand on account of high prices. Beans—The market is dull and l>rians are selling very slowly. New Zen'mid I:eans f.a.q., old crop, per sG4lbs , 'Ps. 3d. Tho market closed firmer with more inquiry. New Zealand cocksfoot seed weighing 171bs. per bushel offered nt 48s. Gd. c.i.f. for shipment; Danish <Ms.. ninety per cent, of purity growth guaranteed.
