and with very few exceptions all lines came quited at full market rates. Tlio disporsnl sale of Mrs. Cripps' herd of 5U dairy cows and heifers takes place at Rapanui on Thursday next, the 24th inst. Tlio herd is a particularly good one, having been carefully selected and bred up by Mrs. Cripps (who is giving up dairying) for about 20 years, and the sale is a good opportunity for those dairy farmers in search of really high-elas stock. A brake running to the, sale connects Avith the North train at Wcstmere, both in tho morning and evening, for the convenience of buyers.
