OKEHU DAIRY FACTORY.

TENDER ACCEPTED FOR NEW FACTORY. (From Our Travelling Reporter.) The dairy industry is steadily developing in the Wanganui district, and there is every reason to believe that the coming season will show a big increase in output. It was stated recently in the "Chronicle" that a factory was to be erected •at Marahare in connection with Okehu suppliers, and in support of this, the tender of Mr. Is. Comrie has been accepted by Mr. G. L. MacLachlan for the erection of a plant on the most modern lines. TKe contract price is £1060 without machinery, so that it will be seen a building is to be erected worthy of this important district.
