GONVILLE v. MARTON

On Saturday four rinks of Lowers from the Gonville Club Journeyed to 'Marton and there 'played a match w;ith tho Marton Club. At the conclusion of the match the totals stood at ■Gonvil.'o 76,.Marton 104. Ogilvie's ring was the only Gonville rink to win its game. The visitors were hospitably entertained by the Marton Club. At the conclusion of the .match Mr. W. T. Benefield, president of the Gonville Bowling Cliib, expressed the pleasure which the trip had afforded his club, and hoped that the Marton Club would see its way to return the visit. Mr. Mogridge replied on behalf of th 6 Marton Club,; iand stated that it might not be possible to visit Gonville this season, but a return match would certainly bo arranged for early next season. On the call of the president, three hearty cheers were given for the manner in which the Marton Club had .entertained the visitors.
