MANA-WATU RACING CLUB. AUTUMN MEETING OPENS TOMORROW. Tho usually popular fixture of the Manawatu Racing Club, the autumn meeting, will be opened on the Awapiini racecourse, Palnierston North, to-ir-orrow, and wiil be concluded on Thursxlay. Special train arrangements for the fixture have appeared in this paper, the train from Palmerston being delayed for the convenience of racegoers. A large number of Wanganui sportsmen have signified their intention of making the trip, and should have no causo to cavil at the quality of the racing. Some of the Dominion's best "performers wili be engaged, notably among them being Autmnus. Nightwatch, Bertfada. Salzburg, Briar Patch, Culprit, lk>n Rove, Ogier, Jason, Gladiole, Bon ! Ton, Imagination, Sir Solo, and Coroniform not to mention many others. A first-class day's sport should thus be enjoyed by those who attend. The club's advertisement appears on page seven.
