ANNUAL MEETING OF CLUB

A LARGE CREDIT BALANCE

At the annual meeting of the Taihape Athletic Club last night, the balance sheet showed a credit of £114 6s. 2d., though there was a. deficiency of £17 17s. on the last meeting, despite tho fact that the receipts at the gate were the second largest on record, and that the total receipts amounted - to £300.

On tho motion- of Mr. Bray, it was resolved that tho amount of prize money bo not more than £50, the matter to bo left in tho hands of the programme committee to .arrange. '■ '*■

The secretary was authorised to communicate with tho Railway Department with tho view to having a "special" run from Ohakune on the day of the sports. Tho officers elected for tho ensuing year are all enthusiasts, and a most successful meeting.is .assured.
