WANGANUI ASSOCIATION

A meeting of the Management Commoittee of the Wanganui Cricket Association was held la6t evening. Mr. XV. A. Armour presided over a good attendance of delegates.

I'ho disqualifications imposed upon Aramoho and Grocers' clubs were lifted, theso clubs having paid up their arrears.

It was decided to play tho N.S.W. Teachers-Wanganui match on the College ground. The dates fixed for the match are Dec. 28 and 30.

On the question of foregoing its claim to Cook's Gardens for Saturday next, in order to enable the Defence Department to use the ground for the purpose of holding a spectacular display in honour of the New Zealand Cadets, the meeting unanimously decided that all matches bo proceeded wi.n.

A provisional entry is to be forwarded to the New Zealand Council for the Hawke Cup tournament. Tho alterations to the conditions attached to the winning of the cup were approved of.

Invitations were extended to the Manawatu, Taranaki and Oroua representative teams to visit Wanganui.

The following levies were fixed for tho season 1912-13: Senior, £8 per team; junior, £6 per team j Thursday, 10s ne-r team ncr match.

Messrs Murchie and Sanders, with the secretary, were appointed a, subcommittee to revise tlie rales of the Association.

The junior matches set down for last weak —Technical College v. College, St. Paul's A v. ST. Paul's B—are"to be played next Saturday.
