Taihirpp, according to dipt. Sutherland, of the Taihano Fire Brigade. is in tho fortunate position of possessing tho highest pressure water supply in tho Dominion. The maximum pressure .varies from 1701b. to 1801b. per square inch, which was much higher than the pressure registered in most towns. Tho Brigade, he says, was confident that it could successfully cope with any fire that was likely to occur in Taihano.
