MESSRS. FREEMAN R. JACKSON'S SALE.
Messrs. Freeman R. Jacfeon and Co. report as under:— At our horse fair on the 19th inst., some 80 horses were yarded. Horses of a. sood stamp were competed for, but other classes were difficult to ouit. At our fortnitrhtlv stock sale at Wanf?finui on tho 23rd inst.. pcrnie ;"70 head of cattlo. ISO sheep, and 100 pisrc were penned. All classes of stock sold well, and practically the whole yarding was quitted. At Wavfvrley on tho 2oth inst.. a. motlerst^ yarding'of stock sold at full rates. Wo quote:— At Waneramii salo.—Cattle: Prime cow« £8 135.. forward cows £4 12s. 6d. to £o. store cows £3 to £4. storo bullocks £6 16s. to £7, 2-year heifers £4 Is f-o £t 9 9 . 6d., others £3 Us. to £3 17s. 6d.. cows with calves £2 12s. (id. to £o Ins.. yearlings (medium) £3 h'. fid. to £3 55.. sprina^ng heifors £5 s<. to £6 17r. 6d.. dairy cows £4 12s. fid. to £7, bulls £4 to' £6. Sheen: PHmo heavy ewes 245. 9d. to 265. 2d., others 225. sd. to 225. 6d., fat wethers 265. 2d., mixed hoggets los. fid., small do. 135., forward ewes 17s. Pigs: Prime heavy porkers £2 Bs.. primo porkers 3os. to 39.*.. medium do. 275. fid. to 30.<?., slips lfis. to 18s.. stores 225. to 2os chonppr?. £2 11s. to £2 17s. 6d.
