NEW ZEALAND CADETS.
THE CANADIAN CONTINGENT
WELCOMED AT MARTON JUNC-
TION

There was quite a- gathering at Marton Junction before noon to-day, when the New Zealand Cadets, just returned from Canada, passed through on their way to Stratford and Hawera. The Cadets were under the charge of Capt. Fullerton; and were met at the station by His Worship the Mayor, Mr. R. E. Beckett, Col. Chaytor, O.C. District, Surgeon-General Skerman, Capt. Bosworth, of the District Staff; Oapt. Young and Lieut. Cook, of A. Company, and Lieut. Harris, of Marton Cadets, -j After the Cadets had been inspected iby Col. Chaytor, the Mayor addressed the contingent and offered words of welcome and congratulations upon the great success achieved on tour. The Cadets will return to Wanganui from the Taranaki district, and then proceed to Wellington, where they will meet the Vancouver Cadets now in the South Island.
