a WANGANUI GOLF CLUB

The Wanganui Golf Club closed th^ 1912 season on Saturday, when mixed foursomes were played with members of the Ladi^.' Golf Club, for prizes kindly presented by tho President. Mr. H. B. Watson. In spite of tho unfavourable weather a largo field turned out, and tho winners are to be heartily congratulated on being up on bogey in spite of wind and rain. Tho winners wore Mr. and Mrs. Potts (19). who tied with Mrs. Iznrd and Mr. Ritchio (4), with the s<--oro of 2 up on bogey, and won the play-off. Tho ladies provided afternoon tea, and Mr. Payne (tho captain) presented tho prizes.
