Consignees of cargo ex s.s. Whakarua are notified in the advertisement column that this steamer has discharged, and VVanganui cargo is now coming to hand. Delivery orders may be obtained from the local agent, Mr. J. L. Stevenson, on nresenting bills of lading. Tho public aro notified by the Castle-c-loff Railway Co. that their trains will leave Wanganui to-day (Monday),, as follows:—9-45 a.m., 11-15 a.m., 12-33 p.m., 2-15 p.m., 3-45 p.m., 6-35 p.m. Chcno fares now in force.
Veiteh and Muir Avill sell by auction at No.. 20, Wilson St., on Tuesday at 1 p.m., household furniture, etc.. including a 10 by 12 tent and fly. It is erected in sections, and is just the thing for Castlecliff or a garden, as we will now soon have tho hot weather. Some of the goods are slightly damaged byfire, but will be sold without v*seTve.
The Tramway Department advise that tho Gonville loop service will be suspended to-day (Labour Day). Oars will leave tbo Post Office at 7-3 a.m. for Ga*stlecHff. and every 20 minutes after until 10-23 p.m. Tho first car will run via Koromiko Road, the second via Al.m«. Road, and alternately after. Oars will lcavo Castlecliff at 7-35 a.m. for the "Post _ Office via Alma. Road, and erery ?0 minntes after by alternate routes until 10-53 If wet. the ordinary time-table will be adhered to.
