CHRISTCHURCH, Oct. 25

An open pen-knife was u<sed in ,a row between two men and a women at Sydenham yesterday, and as a result Jas. Madder was charged -f\ii the .Magistrate's Court to-day with wounding Mary Donovan and George Boyco, and was remanded until Tuesday. Donovan was convicted of vagrancy,* and sent to the Salvation Army Home, and Boyca was charged with drunkenness and "remanded until Tuesday. It is alleged that Boyce and Medder quarrelled. The latter attacked Boyce with a knife, and the woman intervened.
