Prices for storo cows are very good at present, as they are keenly enough sought after. We quote prices as follows : Mixed yearlinsrs of poor quality 32s to 52s 6d, yearling steers, Shorth sorts, small framed, made from 50s to 58s, good conditioned cattle realised from 60s to 67s 6d, yearling -Sh->. horn heifers, small but in good condition, made from-58s to 635, JersoyHolstein cross yearling heifers realised from 70s to 100s for nice, well-done farmers' lines, Jersey yearling heifers of good quality brought good prices, making from 90s to 11-is Gd; two-year-old steers 85s to 90s, 2 year old empty heifers. Shortho-rn sorts, made from «3s to 90s, Holstein heifers 89s to lOtts. 3 year old steers 105s to 116s, store cows, low-conditioned, 48s; cows, ordinary sorts; 76s to 89s, forward cows !?2s to 102s. fat cows 120s to lB6s; we, also sold 18 forward ewes at 17^-4-dT"' Wo also held a dairy sale on the same day, heifers coming forward in good numbers. Prices were rather better than on Saturday, and wo quote as follows: Shorthorn heifers close to profit 110s to 177s 6d., heifers rather backward 87s 6d to 120s, Jersey-Hol-stein heifers close to profit 150s to 2UOs, dairy cows close to profit 135s to 2255, cows in low condition and backward brought from 65s to 100s, 2 year heifers, calved, realised from 115s to 1455.
