FEILDING LAMBS IN LONDON.

(By our Travelling Reporter.) Several flockmasters in the Feilding district have found it profitable to ship lambs to London and sell on ttic open market. One farmer last season sent a consignment Home, and his advices show that with the pelts, wool and fat they brought 20s 7d per head. Tho expenses he calculated "at 4s 6d per head, leaving: lfis per head clear profit. The weights were 34jJ>s average, and at the time of shipping the Dominion freezing works were paying 12s per head for 361b lambs. The farmer is therefore well satisfied with the result of his enterprise.
