THE EASTBOURNE MURDER.
AN ARREST.

LONDON, Oct. 22. John Williams has been remanded at Eastbourne on a charge of murdering Inspector Walls at the Countess of Sztaray's house a fortnight ago, when the inspector was' summoned to the house to arrest burglars. The evidence is based on the discovery of a hat alleged to belong to Williams, also a revolver ho was seen to bury on the beach and also his flight to London. The chief witness, Florence Seymour, with whom Williams cohabited, testified that on the night of the tragedy she carried a parcel containing a rone with a hook Williams left her for half an hour, and when lie returned he was hat leas. Williams bade her throw the parcel on the beach.
