FOREIGN RESIDENTS FLEEING

MEXICO CITY, April 6th

Acting upon instructions from Washington, the United States Ambassador has made representations to the Mexican Government on rjehalf of the American railwnymen in Mexico. Life in this country is not too pleasant just now. English and American women resident in the capital are fleeing across the border into the United States, fearing that a, strike by the railwaymen may compel them to remain in tho city, with the possibility of the place being besieged by the rebels.
