FIRE BRIGADES' CONFERENCE.
(Per Press Association.) ROTORUA, January 24. A .public meeting to-night considered a. scheme of outertain-ment' erf the delegates to the Fire Brigades' Conference, to be held here in Mai -h. On Sunday, March 3rd, 'the custom;try church mirade will Im? held; oilicial welcome cxteri'ded on Monday morning; on AVednesday the delegates will be taken for fl. trip to Hamurana, Okere and Tikitiri; Friday afternoon •will-be devoted to -a \4sit to Whaka and in the evening a smoke concert .will be held; on Saturday afternoon, various recreations, such as bowls, tennis and croquet will be indulged in. Strong committees were set up to carry out details.
