WHY?
To the Editor. Sir, —As a shopkeeper I must protest against tho action of the various trades in their everlasting cadge. If a certain trade docides to have a holiday and picnic, tho first thing they do *is to go round to the shopkeepers and beg for donations towards &h<? -expenses' Have tbo- no pride? Why should tliev ijeg? D-) they wish to share with our other charities?—l am. etc..
