THE GULLIBLE PUBLIC AGAIN

A. H. and C. A. Mooro are charged with using tho United States mails to defraud. They promoted "(the'Alaska AJining Company/ which advertised itself as owning 5000 acres of'gold-bear-ing lands. Tho sum of £11,000 was collected in stock and subscriptions; and it was stated that 300 men: had been taken to Alaska to work in developing the 'property; Dividends of 20 per cent, were promised.
