FREEMAN R. JACKSON AND CO.'S STOCK REPORT.
Messrs F. R. Jackson and Co. report : At our Wavtrley yards on Friday (13th inst.) we offered 160 head of cattle and 2550 sheep. There was a good attendance, and competition for all stock was good, the bulk of the yarding being sold. We quote:
Cathie —Light fat cows, £5 9s; forward cows, £4 to £4 4s 6d ; store cows, £2 15s to £3 15s; 2-year steers, £4 9s; yearling Jersey cross heifers, £3 3s; yearlings (mixed), £2 10s to £2 15s; smalml do., 21s to 355; springing heifers, £4 5s to £6 10s.
Sheep.—Four and 6-tooth store wethers, 15s Id to 15s 4d; 2-tooth (poor condition), 13s Id; 4-tooth empty ewes, 14s: good mixed hoggets, 14s 2d; medium do.j 10s to 12s sd: emnty ewes, 10s 6d.
