A cable received in town; announced" the safe arrival in London, of -Six. and Mrs. C. M. Cresswell. ;-
Mr. Jolm. Hughes', son of Lieut.-Col. Robert Hughes, has passed the examination making.him.a lieutenant in; the Territorials.
The Hon. J. A.- Millar will be unable to represent the Government at the Dunedin Coronation celebrations, owing to ill-health. His medical adviser has ordered him to take thtee or four days' complete rest.
