WESTPORT, March 18. Mr Michael Williams, President of the Westport Labour Union, who attended tho races yesterday and this; mci ning, was picked''up on tlie side or tho lino between tho racecourse and Wc-stpt.-rt, with a gash on the back of his headl and a sear on the forehead.. He diod in the hospital this afternoon.. It is not known whether ho'fell off the* train, or was knocked over by a passing train.
