The Hon. D. Buddo informed adeputation from the Christchurciv Pire Board that he would take the opinions of electrical experts on thequestion of the necessity for electrical installation being periodically inspected, and if their opinions upheld the necessity, he therefore would see what could be done by introducing; legislation, giving Fire Boards the power to make periodically an inspection and charge fees for same. He personally was of opinion that the Boards' should have the power mentioned.
