Hagney, 'finishing well, won by four lengths, Lawson' fourth, and Messenger in the ruck.

Fourtn Heat.—Fog well (lSvecs) 1. F. Matterson (403ecs) 2, G\ Matterson (75 sees) 3. Fog well steadily mad® his way to the front, and took charge at Tennyson, when lie jumped away and finished two lengths to the good. Kemp was fourth.

Arnst's defeat has robbed the final next Saturday cf a--good deal of interest.
