At ;Mio Supreme Court to-day the» Law Society moved to have the nam^--of John J ' Patterson, of Dannevirke>.. removed from- the roll of solicjitors,--Patterson has been adjudged a* bank—? rupt on his own petition,, and was sentenced to two months for not keepings proper books. This morning's applica-,-tion. was opposed, and ultimately Mr~ Justice Chapman removed, the motions to the Appeal Court.
