A SAWMILL DAMAGED

* GREYMOUTH, August 13. Osmorit and Butler's sawmill was" seriously damaged by fire early this--: morning, the flames basing a full liolcL before any neighbours were'aware ois" tlie outbreak. Most of the woodworfcr surrounding the machinery was destroy—. -d, thereby injuring the plant. The*; insurances in the Phoenix, are at prer-, .srt-nt unavailable. JHJNEDIN, Aiiiust 14. About 7.45 this morning a fire broker-, out in a large building in North Dunedin, formerly known as the Wellparkr • Brewery, but now occupied by Wilsonfe' Malt Extract Co. The fire had a good* " hold when discovered, but the brigade' s^on suppressed it. The building \vas--~ owned by tho Standard Insurance CoTho stock, machinery, etc., were insured in the National Office, therp.mount, it is understood, being £800. Tho amount of damage dene by the*-* fire is not yet known.
