At the Supreme Court to-day Duncan, late- manager of Glen Oroua Dairy Factory, was granted £247 10s damages against the Company for wrongful dismissal.
Crispianus Roberts claimed £152 10s from Walter Signal, of Marton, in respect to damages caused by collision between defendant's motor-car and plaintiff's horse. Plaintiff claimed that the accident was due to defendant's negligence. The evidence was connective,' and Judge Cooper gave judgment for plaintiff for £52 10a.
