At a conference of members of the Chamber of Commerce, school committees and district representatives af the Wanganui Education Boai-cl to-night, a resolution was carried that the Government be asked, tcntake into consideration the advisability of recasting the education districts of the North Island with a-view to increasing their efficiency and reducing their expenditure, and that the Education Board of Wanganui be asked to place the question before the Educational Conference for discussion and suggestion. ,
